Mi Terro, a Lair East Labs’s portfolio company, won the Elevator Pitch Competition 2020 and claimed its 6-digit grand cash prize.
The annual contest organized by Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation was held virtually this year but still attracted more than 470 entries from all over the world. Only 170 contestants made it to the semi-finals.

Lair East Labs is a startup accelerator for founders interested in launching businesses in the US with access to the Asian Market. At the heart of Lair East Labs lies the 10-week accelerator program, in which we help invest capital ($50K) and accelerate 10 -12 startups each year who are ready to explore and take on our program.
Lair East Labs and Taiwan’s innovation social platform, Meet Startups, jointly held their third “Meet Accel Acceleration Program” event. Eleven Taiwanese startups entered the program with the chance of winning a round-trip ticket from Taipei to New York, have US interview opportunities and be connected to Lair East Labs’ international resources.
With plans to set up a base in the US to grow vegetables for local supply, the Aeroponics developer Airtree won an innovation award at Meet Accel. This was a program jointly held by Lair East Labs and Taiwan’s innovation social platform, Meet Startups. Airtree will now go to Lair East Labs’ accelerator in New York City.
